Fairwinds is seeking an intellectually curious, collaborative, and hard-working individual to join our growing sales team as an Account Executive.

As an Account Executive, you will help us continue to grow our client base. You’ll build your sales pipeline by connecting with prospective clients in your territory, understanding their unique needs, and identifying the best way to help customers solve their problems with Fairwinds’ offerings. We are looking for someone who will have a positive attitude and a great work ethic. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will also work closely with your BDRs and other Account Executives to develop strategic campaigns and continually improve our sales process as a whole.

2. About you…

  • Responsible for growing our client base with a focus on accounts in your territory and partnering with the Fairwinds SRE, Partner and Customer Success teams internally.
  • 2-5+ years of successful experience in a closing role
  • Ability to establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts in your territory and act as a consultant to get prospects to think differently about their business and infrastructure needs
  • Must work well in a team selling environment including supporting the prospecting efforts
  • While this is mostly an inside role, you have the ability for occasional travel within your assigned territory
  • You have a positive attitude. We celebrate our wins, and learn from the losses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a B.A. or B.S. degree
