About the team

We’re a team of Recruiters who partner with our business leaders to build and execute recruitment strategies that support the growth of Wealthsimple. We’re a full-stack team that sources, coordinates, interviews, advises, and delivers exceptional experiences, to both the teams we partner with and our candidates!

This position is a 12 month contract to support strategic high volume recruitment across client experience, sales, and early talent.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Actively screen and interview a high volume of candidates, while providing a world-class candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers and teams throughout the entire hiring lifecycle (job description creation, hiring coaching and consulting, process building and coordination, interview logistics, offer negotiation, etc.).
  • Work closely with our People Ops team to ensure we take into account every component of an effective and equitable search.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to amplify our talent brand. Represent Wealthsimple at events, sponsorships, hackathons and campus events and ensure we’re in the right places both online and off.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Brings 1-3 years of high volume recruiting experience, ideally with some experience at a startup.
  • Can build meaningful relationships with hiring teams and candidates.
  • Is a self-starter. You’re full of ideas and ready to jump into action, and proactively search for opportunities to improve processes and practices.
  • Has exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Is extremely organized with the ability to multitask in our fast-paced environment.
