Description

EPIC Brokers, an innovative retail risk management and employee benefits insurance brokerage and consulting firm, is seeking a SVP of Insurance Solutions Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s internal collaboration capabilities, fostering cross-selling opportunities, enhancing communications with key constituencies, and furthering our innovation efforts in support of our culture. Your efforts will ensure that the right partners connect with each other, leading to synergistic results.

Responsibilities

1. Work alongside our CMO and Product and Practice Leadership:
      o Along with EPIC’s senior leaders, drive collaboration efforts linking resources and capabilities with opportunities.
      o Work to create partnerships in areas not connected previously by leveraging your relationship building and insurance industry expertise.
      o Support content and thought leadership activities within our specialty and industry practices.
2. Manage several work-streams within all departments:
    o Oversee multiple initiatives or projects related to internal collaboration and capabilities marketing and cross-selling.
    o Ensure efficient coordination and execution across these work-streams.
    o Bring partners to the table for additional revenue stream generation.
3. Model how EPIC’s professionals can interact efficiently and constructively together for the benefit of our clients:
    o Creating strategies to deliver results, drive trust, and share knowledge company wide on our offerings to all levels in the organization.
    o Help define the company’s approach to engaging with clients and other stakeholders.
4. Enhance internal trading relationships:
    o Monitor and nurture important partnerships with strategic stakeholders to ensure that all the capabilities of EPIC are brought forward for the benefit of our clientele.
    o Acting as a centralized clearinghouse for internal capabilities requests and market intelligence:
    o Serve as a central point for gathering and disseminating relevant capabilities information within the organization.
    o Leverage the organization’s investments into internal marketing and data analytics

 

Job Duties

1. Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
    o Collaborate with Marketing and Communication department to create and execute integrated campaigns across various distribution channels (digital, print, events) highlighting our competitive differentiation to internal stakeholders as well as external.
2. Content Creation:
    o Work with the Marketing and Communications department to assist in the development of compelling and differentiated marketing materials (brochures, ads, social media content, digital assets) for internal and external exposure.
3. Continuous Optimization:
    o Analyze market data, customer feedback, stakeholder feedback and sales performance to help refine marketing strategies.
4. Industry Awareness and Adaptation:
    o Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to adjust marketing approaches accordingly.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    o Work closely with property and casualty, employee benefits, private client and risk management teams to ensure seamless connections and collaboration.
    o Collaborate with knowledge and content champions within specialty practices to broaden their exposure
6. Measurement and Insights:
    o Collaborate with Data Analysts to measure and report on collaboration effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Experience in complex, matrixed environments, developing and executing collaboration strategies for complex sales and client advocacy.
• Deep insurance industry knowledge and ability to speak to varying levels within the organization
• Familiarity with marketing technologies (automation, social media, intranets).
• Proven ability to serve as a trusted and influential advisor and counselor to senior executives, and to cultivate meaningful relationships with senior executives
• BS/BA in business administration, risk management, marketing, communications, or relevant field; MS/MA is a plus.
